BlueFront Update is a newsletter which is designed to: keep you up to date with developments at BlueFront, bring you news of new Emrox solutions, provide updated information on existing Emrox solutions, advise details about software update releases, and to supply our clients with best practise hints and tips to ensure they get the best value from their Emrox solutions.

1. News - Company news from Norway.
From 1 December 2008, Retur Logistikk AS has changed its registered company name to BlueFront Norge AS. No other changes have been made. For contact details please see http://www.bluefront.com/contact/norway/
2. New Product Features - New Attachment feature and major "facelift" for Emrox Store
Earlier this month a software release was made to our NET2 platform which included a new feature for Emrox Store. It is now possible to add file attachments (e.g. images or documents), or URLs - together with commnets to RMA orders.

In addition to this new feature, a "facelift" has been made where the focus was further usability improvement - this includes:
Improvements to the Order Screen input order and the merging of items from tab 2 into the main tab,
The hiding of unused or rarely used sections (these can still be viewed by clicking a "Show All" check box),
The ability to minimise or expand sections by clicking on the section header.
In addition to these usability improvements, this release included major improvements to Emrox Store's ability to receive pre-populated data from EPOS systems. This improvement will enable more than 500 shops to have Emrox Store integrated into their POS during 2009. New clients to BlueFront will also benefit from faster integration due to this change during new account configuration.

3. Hints and Tips - Loan item management in Emrox Store
In many service cases, customers require to be provided with a loan (or rental) product to temporarily replace their defective product when it is sent for repair. Emrox Store contains a loan stock register where all available loan products (and/or rentable products) can be registered. By registering these products in the register, is it very easy to add a loan (or rent) product to a repair order. Within Emrox Store, it is possible to make different print-out templates which can be adjusted to meet the requirements of different product groups that are used as loan or rent items.
Emrox Store automatically manages loan (or rent) item issue and ensures that such items will be returned when the repair is finished and before the order can be closed.
4. Software update - Emrox.net 2.1.4
As advised in item 2, a new upgrade was made to our NET2 platform at the beginning of December. In addition to the improvements mentioned in Emrox Store, this update also included improvements to Emrox Self Service. Other features which have been improved are: Order search and Customer and Article Search. More details can be found at http://www.emrox.net/news/new-version-of-emrox.net-2.1.4/
